Let me tell you a few things about Gordon. First, we take our Christian faith very seriously here. There are a lot of opportunities to grow deeper in your faith—Bible studies, mission trips, opportunities to dialogue with professors about faith-related matters within your field, Old and New Testament classes and chapel three times a week. When I was here, I especially appreciated ________.Second, our academics are a cut above the rest. Our students have the opportunity to study under national leaders and scholars in their field. Gordon’s professors are grounded in strong evangelical roots and are dedicated to pursuing truth with integrity, moral imagination, personal responsibility and Christ-like love. We also provide cross cultural experiences all over the world, finding it integral to a student’s growth. My favorite class on campus was __________.
Third, our campus community is dedicated to students like you. You’ll make lifelong friends on your floor, you’ll have an abundance of on-campus activities to choose from and you’ll have opportunities to participate in the surrounding communities in places like Boston, Salem and Lynn. Even today, my closest friends are from my time at Gordon and we get together once a year to stay connected.
Fourth, our unique location sets apart from a lot of other schools—we’re only a few miles from picturesque beaches, we’re a little over 20 miles north of Boston’s hub of culture, history and the arts and we’re located on 450 acres of hills, woods, lakes and trails. One of my favorite places in the area is ___________.
Last, Gordon is intentional about developing your Christian calling and purpose. Faculty and staff are deeply committed to encouraging students while they are at Gordon and they’re committed to students’ futures when they graduate. While I was a student, my mentors helped me discover my vocation of ________.
Gordon is a unique and special place—I know firsthand since I attended Gordon myself. And now that you know more about what the school is all about, I want to show you what it looks like. Since you aren’t here in person right now, click here and go on a tour of the campus with me.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at amy@gordon.edu or 978.867.xxxx. I’d love to hear from you—or better yet, meet you in person!
